ICC Alumnus Shares CONVERGYS Job Opportunity

ICC Bacoor Graduate Ms. Abegail Cinco recently wrote ICC President & Founder Manny P. del Prado to provide job opportunities for her fellow ICC graduates in applying as call center agents in Convergys Alabang. Her letter to the ICC President could be found below.

Sir Manny del Prado,

Greetings! I am Abegail A. Cinco. I graduated from Imus Computer College – Bacoor Branch last 2011 but I took my first 3 semesters in ICC GMA. My course was Computer Programming. I believe I did send an email to you last September 2012 regarding my story on how ICC had helped me land a job in Convergys as a technical support representative in an Australian account. Anyway, the reason why I made this email is to give an opportunity to my fellow schoolmates to have the same opportunity as I did. We are currently in need of agents, heaps of new agents who can support our November and December classes. We also offer training in Excel Asia Alabang for free for those applicants who aren’t yet conversational in English but they should pass first our standard assessment like initial interview, computer based assessments and final interview. If they can converse well in English and if they pass the standard assessment, they don’t need to attend the free training. The contract will be given to them to sign. Interestedapplicants should have good communication skills in English, has a neutral accent and can express their thoughts in English. They should also finish atleast 2 years in college without any pending or back subjects. Should not be terminated from their most recent employers. Amenable to work on shifting schedules, graveyard shift, holiday, weekends and overtime if needed. Willing to be assigned in Alabang and lastly applying for a full time call center agent position. I actually interviewed several graduates from ICC and I am more than happy when they pass and sign the contract with us. Also Sir, I am no longer a technical support representative. I am now an HR recruitment specialist for a year now, conducting initial interview, final interview and makes the hiring decision depending on the program to aspiring agents.
